The Baihetan Power Station to Jiangsu ±800kV UHV DC line was completed and put into operation

On July 1, 2022, the Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800 kV UHV DC Project of State Grid Corporation of China
(referred to as the "Baihetan-Jiangsu Project") was completed and put into operation.
The electric energy across more than 2,000 kilometers was sent to Jiangsu via the Baihetan electric energy "West-East Power Transmission" .
Baihetan Hydropower Station will become the second largest hydropower station in Chinaand even in the world. This giant hydropower station with an installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts will generate more than 60 billion kWh of electricity every year.
